The updated Shepherd platform has a number of enhanced and new features.
- Improved sensor organisation within a new hierarchy system
The new layout now collates your data in the following structure - sites > systems > assets > sensors for easier visualisation and navigation. This includes all sensors being visible on a single page for each asset.
- New risk scoring system
A risk score is now available for each level of the above hierarchy providing you with greater insight and trend analytics to help manage risk across your sites. The new risk score is a value between -100 and 100 which is based on the number and severity of alerts over the current month compared to previous ones.
- Notify only option for alerting
Sensors set to ‘notify only’ will not escalate. These will only issue a single email and text alert. This is a new feature in response to customer feedback.
- Improved muting throughout the hierarchy
You are now able to mute at each level of the above hierarchy whilst previously you could only mute at sensor level.
- Exporting of sensor graphs from the user interface (UI)
You can now export sensor graphs directly from the UI to PDF, PNG, JPEG and SVG.
- Variety of temperature units
The default for temperature data is degrees celsius, although, there is now an option to change this to fahrenheit or kelvin.
- Overview of alerts summary throughout the hierarchy
A table of recent alerts is now visible from each level of the hierarchy.
- Scalability, reliability, back-end stuff!
This new version has been designed to be scalable, more reliable and allow greater future developments.
